Fathers and Sons #2

This is Mac and McKay's second Fathers and Sons but first real one since they spent the night this time. McKay thought it was especially cool because his Dad went and three generations of David McKay Barlow boys were together. Thanks Grandpa!

So McKay's plan was to blow up an air mattress and sleep in the van, but the air pump required too much voltage for the car to pump it up so he had a little rougher night than expected. Everyone had a great time though and that is most important.

Mac loved running around with the older boys and he definitely was not worried about getting dirty. As expected, everyone was very tired the after coming home and both McKay and Mac had a nap.

Will McKay be ready to take Brad and Mac next year?

Trying to hang with the big kids.

Mac in all his dirty glory.

Dodger Night

Some friends of ours had tickets they weren't using so they offered them to us. Brad was a too little and Mac had been sick so McKay took the girls with Alisa. They were glad Alisa came with them so they didn't have to go to the bathroom in the 'icky' boys bathroom that 'always smells.' They had tons of fun. The girls think that Dodger games are the best! I couldn't believe they lasted through the whole game (it even went into extra innings!) The Dodgers won and it was a great night!
Rally cap in the 10th inning.

Little Red Hen

Anna was sooo excited to do her play "The Little Red Hen." She has such a great teacher and a fun class. I can't believe her Kindergarten year is almost over! I am so sad. By the time she performed her play Carly and I knew almost all of the songs. Anna had her part memorized and pretty much all of the other kids parts in her class. She was a farmer. She told me before the play which parts were funny so I would know when to laugh. :) Good job Anna - we love you!

One Month Old (coming up for air)

This post is for my brother. He used to tease me about making posts about Mac everytime he got a month older. So this is for you Trav! Brad is now one month old! (Actually he is older than a month but blogging has taken a definite back seat (more like it's been in the trunk) since he was born.) On one hand it has gone by fast. But on the other hand...

These last few weeks have been some of the LONGEST of my life. Of course we feel super blessed and excited to have Rad Brad but it has been a little rough! I have heard a lot of people say if you can handle three kids you can handle ten. I think we will revise that statement to say four kids. He is actually a pretty normal/good baby... it is the combination of all four that gets hairy. :) I feel like I am coming up for air now and things are definitely starting to look up. I even cleaned the house yesterday. Miracles never cease.
I thought this picture was so cute - he is already doing the BYU Cougar cheer and only a month old! Another FANanatic is born. (Thanks Aunt Kate for the cute shirt.)
This pic is a little fuzzy but it is right before he went to bed on the day he offically turned a month old and I had to grab the camera for one shot. I always told myself I would take tons of pictures of my kids no matter how many kids I had. Ummm I'll beg for forgiveness when he's older?
