Lemonade Stand

The girls had been bugging me for awhile to please please do a lemonade stand. They had been conspiring with their friends and we finally relented and planned a day to do it. We decided to do it at a park (pretty sure it's not allowed but we decided to go with the "don't know, don't ask" philosophy) since about two people walk in front of our house per day.

They sold lemonade, brownies, rice krispie treats, and cookies. They sold everything for 50 cents and were sold out in about 2 hours. They were super excited and made almost 20 dollars each. They were the best little advertisers and went up to everyone at the park asking them to buy lemonade. They even passed out fliers at school. I was never the type of kid to want to do something like this but they sure had fun. They did it again two weeks later to raise money for their school's Jog-a-thon and were just as successful.

Good job gals!

Mac's first day of Preschool

Mac was really excited to go to school just like Carly and Anna. He has loved it! A good friend of mine and neighbor has a little preschool at her house just a few doors down. Score! It is every mom's dream! Mac needs to go to preschool and Brad is asleep? No problem! I can't even count the number of times I have had to wake up sleeping babies to pick kids up from school. Besides the awesome closeness, the school is amazing. He came home with a disposable camera the other day to take pictures of his family. It is such a great place!

Brad wanted to be in the pictures too!

The First Day of School

The first day of school was September 1. The girls had a great day!
Anna has Ms. Briggs. Soon-to-be Mrs. Bradshaw.

Carly has Mrs. Davis. They were both excited but a little nervous (they wouldn't look at me in the pictures.) I remember not really liking the first day of school so I can totally understand. Here is to a good year gals!
