Lagoon!

We finally made it to Lagoon! After seeing it off the freeway for years the girls were really excited to go. It was a great day! The weather was perfect and everything. We got Brock to come with us so we would have an even number of people and have lots of fun. Carly's favorite ride was the swings and Anna's favorite ride was Wicked. We loved Spider, Colossas, Mouse Trap, The Bat, Bambora, Swings, and the skyride. All of the rides were really fun. Brock had the weakest stomach and was a spectator for a lot of the rides. He had to go buy ibuprofen after Colossas. The double loop did him in.

Wicked was definitely scary! We were all glad we did it but no one really wanted to go again. (Anna and Angie were willing to but the rest of us talked them out of it.)

The girls loved sitting together on the skyride. Angie and I are behind them. Brock was the photgrapher.

It was such a fun day! We were there for over 8 hours and the girls didn't want leave but the moms were pooped!

Utah Fun

After St. George this year we headed up north to have more fun! We celebrated Mac's birthday and had a party for him.
In case you can't tell this is a pirate ship.

It is so fun to have cousins to celebrate your birthday with!

The kids LOVE to play in the irrigation water. We were there so long they got to twice. They also love eating popsicles. Grandma had to keep going back to Wal-Mart to buy more! The kids had several each day. Ahhhh... the joys of summer!

Mac loved to lounge in this chair!

Grandma kept the wipes on the patio to save the clothes! We had such a fun time in Utah. Everyone was super emotional when we left. It was something we will all remember for a long time!

Iceberg, Blue Teeth, and Triplets

Another favorite St. George tradition is going to Iceberg and getting shakes. We feel a little jipped in our hometown that there are not any good shake places so this is a top priority on our vacation.

We let the girls pick their own and they got bubblegum. It made their teeth bright blue! As an adult I do not understand how you can order or let alone eat bubblegum ice cream. However, I do remember as a child LOVING bubblegum ice cream. The best part for me was when the actually bubblegum got mixed with the cone. Tasty.

We went shopping and the girls all got matching outfits. Super fun!

As they get older they enjoy shopping more and more. Even when it is 90+ degrees outside!

St. George Water Fun

St. George just wouldn't be the same without lots and lots of swimming. The kids are getting to be great swimmers! They can (and did) swim for hours.

They learned how to do handstands this year in the pool.

Cold water does not phase Mac one bit! He was one of the first to run in.

Brad was not so sure of the cold water spray.

Mac getting a ride on the noodle from Grandma.

A new favorite game this year was water baseball. Some of the games got pretty competitive!

Anti-gravity

We found a new place to visit this year in St. George. It was a bounce house/trampoline joint called Anti-gravity. We ended up going twice because we loved it so much. It was a lot of fun and the kids burned lots of energy. I even jumped one of the days and was sore the next morning. Angie and I jousted and we were laughing like crazy.

See you next year!

Pizza and The Little Mermaid

We loved the tradition of going to get pizza and then going to a play at Tuachan. This year we got to see the Little Mermaid. It was definitely one of our favorite plays. The effects were super cool. The singing was amazing and it wasn't even that hot!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Thompsen for a great night!
